Making Your Mark in the Earth
The vision and theme for the 2011-2012 school year is Making Your Mark in the Earth. Too many times, Christian young people are led to believe that they must wait for ''some day in the future' before they can begin fulfilling their purpose. Nothing could be further from the truth. Every Christian who draws a breath has value that is so great it is not able to be calculated and each has great purpose...today. What our children say and do matters now, not just in the future, and they can change the earth in every season of their lives. Young people have a great exuberance, can move by Holy Spirit, are not yet hardened or disillusioned with life, and be a powerful force in the Kingdom.
The Rock Academy students are encouraged to look for ways to make their mark in the earth now. The students come to the school with dreams, gifts, and talents. Their parents are endeavoring to raise them for Christ according to their bent and call. TRA provides opportunities and encouragement for these gifts and talents to develop and grow.
