College Preparatory Diploma
This diploma is designed to prepare a student for college and meet the eligibility requirements for most standard scholarships, such as Bright Futures. Take the highest level course (Standard, Honors, Advanced Placement, or Dual Enrolled) that your student can be successful in.
Colleges look for bright, accomplished students with strong writing skills who have a wide variety of experiences and solid test scores. Students should take advantage of leadership opportunities, community service and academic elective courses.
High School Credits: To earn high school credit in a course, students must complete the required course work, show independent mastery and complete approximately 75 hours of work for every 1/2 credit.

TOTAL CREDITS must total a minimum of 24.
Test Requirements
Student must meet the requirement from at least one of the tests listed. Sub scores from different test may not be combined. The student must met or exceed each of the individual scores from each sub test, or the higher Combined or Composite Score may be used.

Student may not have any grades below C, (70%) in any of the 24 credits used for graduation.
Community Service
Students must complete a minimum of 75 hours of service with approved organizations and document the according to the policies of TRA.
These requirements are for high school graduation. Requirements for scholarship such as Bright Futures may differ. Check with the administration for specifics about scholarship requirements.

- Social Studies: 3 credits minimum in the following courses: World History (1), US History (1), US Government (1/2 ), Economics (1/2)
- Physical Education: 1/2 credit minimum (approved sport or activity, group or individual sport)
- Personal Fitness: 1/2 credit health course
- Performing Fine Art*: 1/2 credit minimum (any skill that can be publicly displayed: art, music, photography, drama etc.)
- Vocational Art*: 1/2 credit minimum (real-life skills: computer, bookkeeping, auto mechanics, agriculture etc.)
- Foreign Language: 2 credits minimum (2 consecutive years of a foreign language that teaches grammar)
- Bible: 2 credits required (documentation paperwork is available upon request)(1 year if student has attended the school for only 1 year)
- Electives: credits in courses that meet the Florida State Standards (suggested courses --speech, driver's ed., geography, journalism, creative writing etc.)

Standard Diploma
This diploma is designed for students who are not necessarily college bound. A student could still attend college with this diploma and would be advised to begin at a local community college. This diploma may NOT meet all standard scholarship requirements. Students MAY need to take some remedial courses or entrance testing at college before attempting college level course work.
This diploma matches the Florida diploma standards with the addition of Bible.

Including Total Reading, Total English (Language) and Total Mathematics. If the ACT or SAT assessment is used the student must met or exceed each of the individual scores from each sub test.

This diploma is designed for students who are not able to be successful with upper math. The rest of the requirements are very similar to the Standard Diploma.

This diploma is designed for students who do not plan to attend a conventional college, but will pursue a trade certificate or will enter directly into the work force.

Special Diplomas
From time to time it becomes necessary to develop a diploma to meet the needs of students with exceptionalities who will not be able to earn one of the diplomas listed above. Special diplomas are marked as such and the accompanying transcript will outline the requirements of such diplomas.
